Proximity is everything when it comes to getting  the most out of being a COMMON member. The farther you are from the action, the harder it is to have a meaningful experience. The more you step in, the more you get back in return. It's that simple.

Stringing together small acts and ways of engaging serves people the most.  Here is  what we have observed other members doing that has supported them in being engaged but not overwhelemed.

QUARTERLY CHECK-INS: Members who take advantage of quarterly check-ins make the most progress and receive the most support. Schedule your sessions for the year now. An on-the-fly approach inevitably leads to well, not much. Besides, we cannot help if we don't know what your needs are.

DOWNLOAD SLACK: 9 times out of 10, members who struggle to connect and engage have not downloaded the Slack app to their computer or mobile phone. Download here. 

ENGAGE: Check Slack 1 time a week for 15 minutes. Welcome a new member, react to a post, share the latest with you. That is all it takes to create meaningful ripple effects. Remember, out of sight translates to out of mind.

ASK FOR HELP: Use the #i-need- an-assist channel in Slack to broaden your support base.
